Chanel Fall 2013 Couture

This was a indubitably a jaw-dropping collection by a certain Karl Lagerfeld, who never ceases to amaze!

The collection presents some hearty, heavy materials for fall: suede stocking boots with thick, weighty belts around everything.
There's a mixing of light and heavy tweeds and beautiful pieces, such as oversized cocoon-like coats,
of varying, portrait necklines.
The collection eventually moves into an array of intricately embellished, ruffled, paveed sequinned and layered dresses with sheen, lame and mirrors
that serves as Lagerfeld's own "sparkle of stardust" to the collection.
There's also the occasional look with geometric patterns that really give the traditional Chanel tweed ensemble a real pop for your eyes!

It was quite a lengthy collection so I apologize for the number of looks I'm posting
but I think you'll fly through them in awe as easily as I did~

Enjoy!!

The light-toned jacket made this look so captivating!

Look at these beautiful plates of color...

The mirrored detail of this skirt couldn't make a look appear more 3D.

The man of the hour!!

What a venue for Chanel's autumn/winter haute couture showing, held in a dilapidated, crumbly concrete theatre!!

"...tradition with future..."
